This set of screenshots will guide you through the option of adding/ editing a form and its controls in your application.
You need to create a form for your customer to enter her/ his data. For eg: In the Sales department, they would require a 'Sales Enquiry Form' for the customer to input his query to the Sales department.
The Forms list is displayed as above. Clicking on the 'Add Forms' link will redirect the user to the 'Add Forms' page as displayed below. Enter the name of your form. Also here you can map this form to a particular department. Here we have an option to choose the default form that comes with this application. If you want to create your own customized form, then choose 'No' option in the 'Select Default Template' option.
A form needs some controls on it. Add the neccesary controls onto it. You can name the control, select the control type, arrange the display order and also attach a label to it.
You can set the properties of the newly added control as displayed below. You can set the control as mandatory and also enter the message that you would like to be displayed when the user skips the control when using the form. You can set the length and width of the control also.
The newly added control will be displayed on the form as displayed below. Click on the 'Preview Form' link to view the newly added form. This feature here gives you the ability to view the newly created form before it can be taken live.
To edit the form controls, click on the form that you want to edit. The list of controls for the selected form is displayed on the right side of the page. You can now add a new control or modify an existing control's properties as desired. To prevent a control from being displayed, go to its properties and uncheck 'Enable'. This prevents a control from being displayed on the form.
